Leandro Manabe
Leandro has been practicing martial arts for the past 11 years with an extensive background in Choy Lay Fut Kung Fu, Praying Mantis Kung Fu, Kickboxing, and KyoKushin Karate. He has 8 years of teaching experience across all levels and ages. Leandro has particular experience instructing children ages 4 & up, as well as instructing people with disabilities. He has also created and taught specialized seminars such as self-defense for children and adult stretching and flexibility. Leandro's goal is to promote good health and fitness by building discipline and confidence for all children through the use of martial arts techniques. |

Dr. Farid Zarif
Dr. Farid Zarif, PhD, ND, MsSM, is currently the director of Sports Nutrition and Medicine at Porter Ranch Medical Center. He is a Doctor of Clinical and Holistic Nutrition and holds a Master's Degree in Sports Medicine. He is also a certified Dietician and Nutritionist. He has studied at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, St. Luke School of Medicine, Harvard University School of Medicine, The Clayton College of Natural Healing, and The American Holistic College of Nutrition. His post-graduate study includes research at Cedars Sinai Medical Center's Institute of Spinal Disorders, as well as The Center for Surgical Treatment of Obesity at Tri-Cities Medical Center. Dr. Zarif has over one hundred and fifty published articles dealing with issues of medicine, health, and fitness. He also founded new studies on the "Human Counter-Metabolic Energy Cycle" and is the author of "Twenty-Four Hour Eating Plan" |
